How to Introduce Retinol Serum
Skin Essentia Users:
- Begin with Skin Essentia Level 3 moisturiser.
- Once adjusted, upgrade to Level 4 moisturiser.
- After acclimating to Level 4 and Retinol Serum, introduce Retinol Forte Serum.
Youth Essentia Users:
- Start with CQ Serum 3.
- Transition to CQ Serum 4.
- Gradually introduce Retinol Forte Serum after adapting to CQ Serum 4 and Retinol Serum.
Important Note: It’s common to experience a retinoid reaction when introducing retinol to the skin for the first time. This is due to a temporary vitamin A deficiency. To minimize discomfort, increase the use of retinol gradually and listen to your skin. If irritation occurs, reduce the frequency or temporarily discontinue use until your skin recovers.

HOW TO USE?
Note: Retinol Serum should be introduced gradually, especially for those new to higher concentrations of vitamin A.
Mixed Application:
- Cleanse, tone, and moisturise with your preferred products.
- Add one drop of Retinol Serum to your vitamin A moisturiser.
- Use 2-3 evenings per week initially.
Once Tolerated:
- Gradually increase the amount of serum until you can use a full pump.
- Gradually increase the frequency of application until you can use it nightly.
Layered Application:
- After acclimating to mixed application, apply Retinol Serum directly to your face before moisturising.
- Start with once-daily evening application.
- If dryness or redness occurs, reduce application to alternate days.
Additional Tips:
- Introduce retinol slowly and increase usage gradually.
- Consider targeted application to specific areas.
- Use multiple bottles before moving to a higher concentration product.
- Always follow with a preferred vitamin A moisturiser.
